we prepared for you the following suggestion on how to get the most out of 6 days MTB in Slovakia. The first two days we will spend in Banska Bystrica area, which you might know from my webpage www.MTBguides.org. The riding here is a combination of effort and beautiful views in untouched nature and historical villages. One day we’ll ride in region of Banska Stiavnica, which is known for its famous connection to the nature and its mining history. Then we will go to the area of High Tatras. This mountain range is world unique. It’s impossible to bike here since the mountains are too steep and rocky but to do at least one ride in the foothills laying in front of these marvelous mountain range is simply a must. One day we ride in the area of the deepest forest in middle Europe known with the densest population of bears in Europe. The last very interesting spot for MTB is a rocky canyon near to a big dam lake north from Banska Bystrica.

Due to transfers of bikes outside of Banska Bystrica, the maximum number of riders is limited to 10.
Accommodation for all days in Banska Bystrica (hotel or pension of your choice)
The program could be subject of changes according to the requirements of the clients, due to bad weather, the local conditions, or any limitations during the tour
Day 1. Arrival
Transfer from Airport to Banská Bystrica. Bike unpacking
Day 2. Riding in the area of Banska Bystrica
- “Coper Mines Trail”, 50 km, 1.300 m, loop – no transfer needed
Day 3. Riding in the area of Banska Bystrica
- “Super Panorama Trail”, 50 km, 1.200 m, loop – no transfer needed
Day 4. Riding in the area Banska Štiavnica
- in the morning transfer from BB to Banska Stiavnica, 60 km, 45 min.
- “Klinger Diamond Trail”, 40 km, 1.000 m, loop
- after ride transfer back to BB
Day 5. Riding in the area of Čierny Balog
- in the morning transfer from BB to Hronec, 60 km, 45. min.
- “Deep Forest Trail”, 50 km, 1.100 m, loop
- after ride transfer back to BB
Day 6. Riding in the area of High Tatras
- in the morning transfer to Svit, 130 km, 1:30 hod.
- “Highlander Trail”, 50 km, 1.000 m, loop
- after ride transfer back to BB
Day 7. Riding at the area of the lake Liptovská Mara
- in the morning transfer to Kvačany, 90 km, 1:30 hod.
- “Big Lake Trail”, 50 km / 1.200 m, loop
- after ride transfer back to BB
Day 8. Departure
Transfer to the Airport.
In order to maintain the highest flexibility, the price of the whole trip is made as follows: The trip is for a group of maximum 10 rider and includes:
– Guide with international license leading the group
– Bikes transport from and to the Airport
– 4 bikes transports (there and back), in the days riding outside of Banska Bystrica
– Storage of the bikes
Price will be calculated on demand.
Depends on number of persons, date, airport, etc. The price does not include accommodation, catering, transfer of persons, bike rental
