Polana is the highest and best preserved volcano in the middle Europe. In the past, the cone of this more than 3000 metres high stratovolcano collapsed into its own magma chamber. It generated a huge crater – a caldera with the circumference of more than 20 kilometres. This MTB tour is lead exactly through the ridge which today forms the edge of the stratovolcano. The tour goes through an area with the highest degree of protection and crosses original, almost untouched virgin forests. The whole area is extraordinarily rich on different bird species, deers, as well as predators such as bears, wolves or lynx.

Relatively inaccessible, 20 km of single trails, tough surface, tough downhills and a difficult orientation justify the attribute of this tour – ONLY FOR EXPERTS.
